Born and raised in Toronto, Dino's insipration began as a young boy and was destined for a career in the culanary arts. "As a child my mother or some other family member always seemed to be cooking". These meals were the focal point and provided the basis for family & food. Everything was made from scratch, the vegetables more often than not, came from his parents garden and everyone participated in its preparation. With extendend family owning & operating various restaurants, resorts and banquet establishments since the early 70's; he has been provided with the foundation of true traditional Italian cuisine and has been able to capitalize on such experiences.
Egidio left his home of Vibo, a small town of Southern Italy in 1994, where he completed his culinary education. Egidio has had the opportunity to work & study withsome of the best chefs throughout Italy, as well as Europe and has capitalized greatly bringing his experiences to "Pronto". With Dino & Egidio's combined experience of over 40 years in the food & hospitality business, it no wonder that their knowledge and experience exudes their commitment & dedication they have in providing exceptional food & service to each and every customer. Egidio & Dino pride themselves on a close-nit relationship with all their customers where knowing the customers on a first name basis is the rule not the exception.
